Sailfest has Returned for the First Time in Five Years.
Salt Lake City, Utah | June 15, 2024 – Great Salt Lake Artemia was proud to sponsor this fantastic event held at the Great Salt Lake State Park last week! 2024 Great Salt Lake Artemia Shrimp Cook-off
Ogden, Utah | May 17, 2024 – Great Salt Lake Artemia had a fantastic time celebrating National Shrimp Day with a fantastic company luncheon and an exciting shrimp cook-off! Our talented employees showcased their culinary skills by preparing a variety of delicious shrimp recipes. 🏅 A big congratulations to all of the 2024 shrimp cook-off winners!

GSLAC Announces Tim Hawkes as New Chair
Salt Lake City | March 14, 2024 – The Great Salt Lake Advisory Council announced the appointment of Timothy Hawkes as new Chair – replacing Don Leonard who has served as Chair for the past 7 years. As one of the founding board members, Leonard played a key role in the passage of HB 343 and served on the board since its inception in 2010. GSLAC was created to advise on the sustainable use, protection, and development of Great Salt Lake.

Great Salt Lake Rises 2 Feet Since Historic Low
Salt Lake City, Utah | March 23, 2023 – Great Salt Lake is already the beneficiary of the epic snowfall totals gathered around the state this winter. Great Salt Lake Summit
Salt Lake City, Utah | Oct. 13, 2022 — On October 13, 2022, to kick off the second Great Salt Lake Summit, Utah House Speaker Brad Wilson released a video highlighting the steps Utah has taken just in the last nine months to help protect Great Salt Lake.
